Chennai Bands Rock Express Avenue Mall on International Women’s Day

Some of the city’s best bands and vocalists will take the stage at  Express Avenue Mall, Chennai as part of the Be the Change! event there on Tues, March 8th.

From 6 pm to 8 pm in Express Avenue’s luxury atrium, you can jam with:

The dance group High Kicks will also perform, with choreography by Aparna Nagesh.

Entry to the concert is free.

The concert caps off a whole slate of International Women’s Day activities organized by Women of Worth (WOW) and hosted by Express Avenue Mall, the official venue.

From 11 am to 9 pm at Express Avenue’s luxury atrium, there will be quizzes and prize giveaways, a showcase of NGOs working with women’s issues, and a “Wall of Change,”
where passersby can post their thoughts on the progress—and problems—experienced by women today.
